SS501′s Kim Hyun Joong is about make his solo debut. KeyEast Entertainment announced that he will release his 1st mini-album entitled “Break Down” on 7th June. Have a glimpse on the tracklist of “Break Down”!
As we announced earlier, SS501′s Kim Hyun Joong will follow the example of his bandmates, ParkJung Min, Kim Hyung Jun and Heo Young Saeng, and sebut as solo artist soon as well.
His agency, KeyEast Entertainment, announced that the release of his “Break Down” EP is set on 7th June, and you can already pre-order it on various sites.
“As much as this is Kim Hyun Joong’s first solo album, he will present fans with a record that has a high level of completion while containing his own style and sensitivity. He also believes he must show them the best performances”, an official of KeyEast Entertainment stated.

After teasing fans with a full music video for “Please” earlier this month, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong has finally made his long-awaited solo debut by dropping the music video for his title track, “Break Down“!
The song was composed by Steven Lee and is classified as a ’south urban dance track’.
Right from its beginning phases, the song was composed with a dynamic choreography in mind to ensure a strong performance.
“Break Down” combines powerful electric brass and synth sounds to create an energetic track. Thealbum also passed through the hands of prestigious sound engineer, Ken Louis (Eminem, Kanye West, and Usher), who personally engineered it himself in New Jersey for a perfect sound quality.
